Help! I can’t see Mic Drop in my menu bar!

Mic Drop is designed to run from the menu bar, but if you have a lot of menu bar apps, Mic Drop might not appear.

macOS does its best to show you the most relevant icons, but it’s a small space and sometimes icons will get pushed off the screen.

Mic Drop should look like this in your menu bar:

Can’t see Mic Drop?

Mic Drop’s menu bar dropdown will appear if you try to re-open the app using Spotlight (⌘Space) or Finder.

You can hold the ⌘ (Command) key and drag Mic Drop’s icon to rearrange its position in your menu bar, if you want it to always be visible.

Try a menu bar manager app

We highly recommend using a menu bar management tool to make it easier to control which icons appear. We use Ice because it provides an overflow menu, so you can always access your off-screen menu bar icons when you need them. You can also try Vanilla or Hidden Bar.
