How do I purchase Mic Drop?

Mic Drop is available exclusively on the Mac App Store.

You can download and use Mic Drop’s basic features for free, forever. Pro features come with a thirty day free trial, and can be purchased in-app from Settings > Go Pro anytime:

Why the Mac App Store?

The Mac App Store is a pretty good platform for small developers like us.

Because we are a small company, Apple’s cut of our sales is only 15%, so we actually see more money from a sale on the Mac App Store than we used to when we sold copies directly from our website.

We think it offers a more seamless user experience too—you don’t need to enter your credit card info to pay for Mic Drop. You also never have to enter/remember a license key, deactivate licenses, etc.

I can’t use the Mac App Store!

If you can’t use the Mac App Store due to IT restrictions, please drop us a line and let us know. If there’s enough interest, we can see about maintaining a second version.

I’d like a refund!

Mic Drop comes with a free, no-obligation 30 day trial, so you should have lots of time to see if it works for you.

If you do need to refund your purchase, you’ll need to request a refund from Apple. Apple handles the billing for in-app purchases, so we aren’t able to directly issue refunds ourselves.
