Zoom
Zoom doesn't monitor the system's mute status, so its UI won't say that you're muted, even when Mic Drop says you are.
Rest assured that muting works as expected—if Mic Drop says you’re muted, you are!
This isn't something we can control—it's up to them to respect the system-level mute status. Feel free to ignore it, or send them a feature request to let them know you'd appreciate a fix!
Zoom and high CPU usage
Versions of Mic Drop before 2.0.0 had some compatibility issues with the Zoom audio driver that allowed you to share your computer audio with your call participants.
Since Mic Drop 2.0.0, this bug has been fixed and Mic Drop should no longer cause high CPU usage on Macs with the Zoom audio driver installed.
