Can I tell Mic Drop to ignore some devices?

You can prevent Mic Drop from controlling certain microphones in Settings > Devices:

If you disable a device in this list, Mic Drop will not mute/unmute the device when you toggle your mute state, and it will show an error if the disabled device is set to your default input device.

This is usually useful for users who have a complicated audio setup with advanced audio routing for things like podcasts or other audio recording.
